Several of our elegant rooms are licensed for the ceremony but if you prefer to arrive from the church, the house and gardens combine to create the ideal, romantic setting for both the formal and informal elements of the day.

Exclusive use

Weddings are the perfect opportunity to make use of our Exclusive Use policy and when you do, most commonly on a Saturday, all the bedrooms in the main house are at your disposal at exceptionally competitive prices. In addition there are more rooms in our Court Building. Most importantly, you and your guests will enjoy the privacy of this ancestral home with our full team at your behest.

Number of guests

The Elvetham is a licensed wedding venue for up to 200 guests and for a formal Wedding Breakfast within the house, we can accommodate as many as one hundred and twenty. When a marquee is added up to three hundred can be catered for and similarly, as a wedding reception venue, the house or marquee can also be for as many as three hundred. Beyond that a larger marquee can be arranged in the gardens for up to 1000.
